TIDE course participation is limited to individuals who hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL). Substitute teaching license holders (SUB) are not eligible. Educators need not live or work in DuPage County to take TIDE courses.
Courses offered via our university partnerships with Dominican University, National Louis University, and University of St. Francis produce semester hours of graduate school credit. Coursework completed is documented on university partner official transcripts of academic performance.
Tuition rates for Dominican University and the University of St. Francis are $235.00 per semester hour. The tuition rate for National Louis University is $264 per semester hour. Financial Aid is not available for TIDE courses.
Text and Material Fees. Unless otherwise specified, textbooks are required at the student’s expense.
The DuPage Regional Office of Education’s TIDE program seeks to offer Educators a variety of courses which lead to endorsements on their Teaching Licenses. The endorsement programs include Reading, ESL, Special Education (LBS1), Early Childhood/Special Education, Director of Special Education, and Teaching with Technology.

New Endorsement Cohorts are always forming. Should you be interested in hosting a cohort in your district please contact Kelley Zerfahs or Sarah Baumbach for more information. A minimum of 15 students is required to open a cohort.
