On February 28, Wheaton North High School hosted the DuPage Regional Spelling Bee which included 27 finalists from public and private schools in the area. Atman Balakrishnan, a 6th grader from Hinsdale Middle School, secured his spot to Washington for the National Spelling Bee rounds held in May.
