DuPage Education Foundation

The DuPage Education Foundation filed for incorporation with the Illinois Secretary of State Office on December 29, 2004. The purpose of the Foundation was to allow the larger DuPage Education Community to apply for and receive public and private dollars through grants and foundations that support various needs of children in the county that were not available through other sources.

The current Board of Directors are Mrs. Lori Ladesic and the Director of Finance at the ROE. The latter position is currently vacant and will be filled in the coming weeks. The Board meets once per year to review and plan the budget.

The DuPage Education Foundation was organized as a 501c (3) to focus on the following:

Educational
Charitable
Civic
Literary

The purpose of the DuPage Education Foundation is to provide an array of educational services to DuPage County youth in grades preschool through high school and their families.

The Internal Revenue Service informed the DuPage Education Foundation Inc on September 30, 2005 that their application for tax exempt status was granted under Section 501c (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and that this exemption had an effective date of December 29, 2004.

Since its inception the foundation has worked with the following projects:

Project FORWARD an Obesity Program
Cultural Relevancy
